Warnock not afraid of sacking

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has stated that he is not scared of being sacked by the club as he is sure of getting another job.

He believes that there is a shortage of good managers in the game at the moment and that will give him a lot of opportunities.

Warnock said that he has plenty of experience in the Championship and this should allow him to coach any other club. For this reason, he is not afraid of losing his job if ever the Cardiff City board decided to sack him.

Cardiff City is currently 13th in the Championship and are currently on a good run of form. Many pundits were tipping Cardiff City to make a serious push for promotion this season, but they were let down by a poor start to the season.

Cardiff City gone under numerous changes this Season

There have been numerous changes at Cardiff City since the summer and one of them is playing under new manager Russell Slade. The manager has so far been highly inconsistent with his results.

After managing to back-to-back victories – in the FA Cup and in the Championship, Cardiff lost a narrow encounter against Norwich City away from home. This has increased the displeasure amongst the few supporters who are turning up to see the team. A recent FA Cup match witnessed only a turnaround of just over 4000 spectators compared to almost 30,000 that the club used to attract only last season.

A crucial 1-0 victory over Fulham in the last league match helps Cardiff keep the momentum in the league, but they will need to start winning on a regular basis. Yet another away trip awaits the team during this weekend.
