Juan Cala will leave in Less than a Year

Juan Cala spent less than one year as a player of Cardiff City after having joined the Championship League club on February of 2014 and leaving on December. The contract of the Spanish defender was cancelled by mutual consent after an incident which occurred in the club.

A few weeks ago Juan Cala accused the club of having a lack of respect towards him after he was sent to train with the Academy squad and the defender took his complaints to the social media as he used his twitter account to reveal his emotions and this started off a string of consequences which ultimately finished off with the player having his contract terminated sooner than initially expected.

Cala joined Cardiff City as a free agent after seeing his contract being concluded with Sevilla but this short term spell with the Championship League has now turned the Spanish defender into a free agent once again.

The former defender of Sevilla apologized to the owner of Cardiff City, Vincent Tan as Juan Cala described a few details as to why this situation occurred.

Juan Calasaid: “I wish to apologize to Tan Sri Vincent Tan for my recent comments. He had nothing to do with my move to the academy. It was just my time at Cardiff City. Thank you very much to the fans for their support here.”

The 25 year old player cleared the air as he said that the problem didn’t involve Vincent Tan as it simply just was something that occurred during his time playing in Cardiff City.

When the coach of Cardiff City, Russell Slade was asked certain questions about the situation of Juan Cala, the manager responded by saying:

“That’s not for me to comment on. Whether we ask for a fee will be an executive decision. I have made my feelings clear.I am sure Vincent Tan has a view, but it was a management decision’’
