Bury’s manager, David Flitcroft has stated that they do not fear anyone despite their current poor run. Bury will be away to league leaders Burton during the weekend, and the manager feels that they have turned a corner.
Bury has only managed to collect 4 points away from home from a possible 39 points and will be facing in Burton, a team that has conceded only two defeat at home. Flitcroft does not want to let himself overwhelm with statistics and believe that his side is much better one despite what the table shows.
The manager has stated that he has a plan for the match against Burton, and he wants his players to follow it if they want to come back with a result. He will want a repeat of the performance against Blackpool where Bury managed to get out with a draw.
David Flitcroft will want his players to give everything in the final games of the season and would want them to stay focus on the game plan.
The manager believes that there are not a great deal that separates the teams at the top of the league from the rest. The only difference is that the top teams has a better finishing and score more goals.
For the game against Burton, Flitcroft will have Craig Jones and Kelvin Etuhu back in the team. Jones was on a good run of form before suffering from a concussion at Blackpool while Etuhu will be back after two months.
However, they will miss Andrew Tutte as well as Danny Mayor, who is suffering from a hamstring injury. Both players are expected to be back in around four weeks and will miss a significant amount of games in this crucial period.
Flitcroft will assess other players in a late fitness test to ensure that they are capable of playing the game at Burton.
